We are looking for a Project Manager

 

General Summary:  

Dominion Voice and Data is a fast-growing IT Managed Service Provider located in Richmond, VA. Ware in need of exceptional team members who are as passionate about performance and continuous learning as we are. We’re blessed to have a number of clients who are expanding rapidly and we’re growing with them. 

 

Our Project Managers are responsible for working with clients and team to manage the implementation of our technical solutions from design phase through completed project, as well as act as primary point of contact between team members, vendors, and client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Construction Industry or IT Project Manager with experience managing multiple projects ranging in value from $100k to $2 mil. 

  

Responsibilities 

  • Review project proposals with management and clients to determine goals, timeframe, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of resources. 
  • Develop project plan consisting of a technical scope and objectives of the work, staffing, scheduling key milestones and deliverables, budget, risks, and allocation of project resources. 
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget. 
  • Develop and maintain technical and project documentation. 
  • Develop plans and direct testing for quality assurance. 
  • Support project by answering questions, tracking issues, monitoring changes and resolving or escalating problems according to company guidelines. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management 
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills 
 

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk

 

General Summary:

Responsibilities  

 

  • Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk: approximately 70% 

    • Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments 
    • Assembles and prepares orders for shipment. 
    • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. 
    • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet requirements. 
    • Maintains inventory of materials and supplies. 
    • Operates handtruck and pallet jack to accomplish shipping/receiving duties. 
    • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins. 
    • Maintains cleanliness throughout the warehouse and carries out facilities maintenance duties as needed. 
    • Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness. 
    • Assists in production. 
     

    Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Coordinator: Approximately 30% 

    • Processes Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) transactions. 
    • Investigates and searches for missing information needed to track RMAs 
    • Completes RMA paperwork and distributes to the customer within the support ticket. 
    • Documents returned merchandise and ensures returned product information in RMA database is complete and accurate. 
    • Makes sure RMAs are processed promptly as they arrive from receiving. 
    • Delivers returned merchandise to the appropriate location. 
    • Coordinates the tracking and shipment of replacement merchandise. 
    • Documents replacement (RMA) product within the support ticket and works with finance to ensure that billing is done correctly. 
    • Manages timely return of defective units back to vendor. 
    • Ensures support personnel and customer are aware of repair status and all updates are documented within the support ticket. 

     

Qualifications  
 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 
  • Three years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Math capabilities as required 
 

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: $9.00 – $24.00 per hour
