Our History

1999

Beginnings

Dominion Voice and Data (DVD) was established in 1999 with a focus on providing telecommunications solutions for senior living communities nationwide.

2013

New Services and New Ownership

In 2013, C&S Communications acquired Dominion Voice and Data and continued to operate under the same name.

Led by owners Steve Smith and Chad Tester, we expanded our services to include IT-managed services alongside telecommunications solutions, serving the Richmond community as well as maintaining a national presence with Senior Living operators.

2019

Dominion Cloud Services

Introduced Dominion Cloud Services to our list of services that include design, installation, modification, and full support for your new phone system. We take an integrated approach to business phone services.

2023

A New Era

To reflect our evolution, we rebranded in early 2023 as DVD Networks. We remain the same great team, guided by our parent company C&S Communications.

Our continued growth and commitment to excellence have led to esteemed recognition including a spot on the Greater Richmond Top Workplaces list by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. In addition, we're proud to be recognized in the Inc 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America.
